For those of you who just have a Jelly Bean Android handset, there is little difference from the Android Home Screen customization previous versions. Called a little because I did not make the Android Jelly Bean as a major update in terms of the code number, but the update of Android Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0 to 4.1 and has been upgraded to 4.2.
However you can find quite a few additional new features and updates before it will be finalized in Android 5.0. Some tips on customizing the home screen in Android Jelly Bean you can see below:
- You can tap any icon or widget on the home screen long enough to be able to move it.
- Put an icon to the top of another icon to create a new folder. Tap to give a name to the folder.
- Long press and release the widget to bring up the resize option. You will see a circle to drag to the size of the widget that you want.
- To remove the shortcut from the home screen simply do long press on the shortcut. If you DO NOT want any shortcut that automatically appears on the home screen after intall new application, you can set it up via the Play Store. Tap Settings and uncheck the box next to 'Auto-add widgets.'
